Frequently asked questions
Do you accept Medical Aids?
All consultations, Medical Aid and Private, are billed according to RSA Medical Aid rates.
Do you submit statements to my Medical Aid?
Unfortunately, no electronic statement submissions are sent to Medical Aids.
Consultations are settled on the same day of your treatment. A statement will be emailed to you for you to submit to your relevant Medical Aid.
Can I claim my Physiotherapy treatment back from my Medical Aid?
This is dependent on the Medical Aid plan that you are on. Some Medical Aids require a pre-authorisation code. If you unsure, it is advisable to contact your Medical Aid to ensure whether physiotherapy is covered and if an authorisation code is required.
All Physiotherapy statements, emailed to patients following their treatment, have the relevant ICD-10 and treatment codes that your Medical Aid requires for a reimbursement.
